What do you offer exactly?

We’ll write your life story from start to finish without you lifting a finger. By the end, you will have a lasting legacy that others can read about and remember you by when you are no longer here, with full color pictures, nine chapters in total, and amazing photos at the end – packaged in a custom box set.

How much does it cost?

The total cost is $1,997 USD, including a 1-2 hour video interview via Zoom. After that, we take your answers and write them up into a beautifully presented life story hard cover book (100 – 200 pages) with chapters and full color pictures from birth to adulthood with five professionally published copies for you to keep.

How long does this take?

After the video interview and sending us your photos, we’ll handle the rest. Ultimately, you will have five professionally published copies of your life story plus a copy of the interview on USB as well as the original PDF manuscript within 30 -60 days (depending on postage location).

Can I keep the original document?

Yes, you can.  We will create the original document using our publishing software and can save it as a standard PDF. We can provide this original PDF to you in case you want to print more copies later on or try other publishing companies down the track.

How many books do you include?

We include five professionally formatted and published copies, along with a complimentary copy of the video interview for you to keep.

What if I need more books later on?

That is fine. You can contact us, and we can print you more copies at the cost price. Or you can use the original PDF we give you and print using your publishers if you like.

How many revisions do I get?

You get three revisions after we have written it up, but we prefer not to do more than this. Otherwise, it takes us more time to work on yours, where we also have many more customers to serve and look after.

Do you have a sample I can see?

Yes, you can see a sample life story we have done here. A typical life story is around 100 – 150 pages, including nine chapters covering everything you have done.

How many photos can I include?

You can include as many photos as you like. Nine chapters cover birth, young days, teenage years, adulthood and more. We can insert photos for each chapter and a bunch of photos at the end with captions for readers to see and enjoy.

Can I do part payments?

No, unfortunately not, because once we start work, our time is being used, and we cannot get this back. If we write your book and your payment fails after you won’t receive your books and we have lost our time working on your project.

How does the whole process work?

The first step is to book a quick call with us, where we will schedule a Zoom interview to ask you questions. After the interview, you send us the photos you want us to include along with a cover photo. We take that and write up your book for you. We’ll send you a quick draft to approve, and once all is okay, we will publish five copies of your book.

Is my book black and white or color?

Your book is printed in the highest quality possible because it is your life story and will last a lifetime. It has a hard cover with full-colour images and thick matte pages, making it easy for the user to read. We spare no expense when it comes to the thickness and quality of your book.

What format do my photos need to be in?

We realise many old photos (black and white) are still in your album. Most users take a photo of the album using their iPhone or tablet and send them all to us. When taking pictures of the album, try to fill the whole camera screen with the original image because it needs to be precise when we print. The larger and higher quality of the picture, the better it will come out when published.

What's the best way to send you photos?

The best way is to send them via email. Our email is info@full-life-story.com and most people use their iPhone or tablet to take photos from their album and email them straight from their iPhone / tablet to our email address. Remember to select ‘send as original size’ so your image is large and high quality.

What do other people charge for this?

After looking around, we found others charge a large amount of money (which is why not many can afford to publish their life story). For example, Life Book charge upwards of GBP $12,000 – $24,000. FamilyTreeVideo charges upwards of $5,000, and WritingYourLifeStory fees are around $7,000. The turnaround time varies, whereas ours is a flat $1,997 USD, which is done in 30 days, and we include 5 books, a copy of the video interview and the original manuscript in case you want to print more copies later on yourself – all in a custom box set for you to keep for life.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes, we will implement a referral program shortly because we’ve noticed that once people receive their book, they can’t wait to show others.  When others see them, they also want their life story written up.  Why not give credit when credit is due?  We will pay you a commission if you tell others about our service, as we are keen to write stories for every person regardless of age or background.  Everyone has a unique story to tell and share with the world.
